My art is heavily influenced by the strange and unusual. Horror and fantasy creators like Aurelio Voltaire, Guillermo Del Toro, Victoria Frances and Tim Burton helped me to realize my passion for storytelling through the macabre.

 I strive to make work that is utilizable in the film and theatre industry, mixing hyper realism with fantasy. I’m looking to contemporary artists for inspiration such as Emil Melmoth’s mix of gore and surrealism, and Ron Mueck’s use of hyper realism.

My focus in art is sculpture and theatrical props. I primarily work in oil based clay and casting via silicone molds. Working with my hands and crafting is my passion. It has led me to learning a variety of skillsets that broaden my creative opportunities.

Some of the current themes in my work revolve around trauma, sexuality, and nature.
